Ms Tee is a certified Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). She has over 18 years of extensive finance experience which includes audit and technical advisory work across Big 4 accounting firms and investment banks.
Prior to her work as a consultant/trainer, she headed the Accounting and Regulatory Policy Team in APAC Finance, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). Before RBS, she worked as a Technical Accounting Advisor in Deutsche Bank (DB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Her role as an advisor in RBS, DB and PwC involved conducting customised training to external and internal clients in the Asia Pacific region, spanning across financial institutions and non-financial institutions. In addition, she also regularly advised on accounting and regulatory policies and the practical issues associated with implementing these requirements.
During her tenure in RBS, she was a member of the Banking and Finance Committee of ISCA. At PwC, she had contributed an article entitled "International Financial Reporting Standards in Asia" to the Asia Treasurer's Handbook published by The Association of Corporate Treasurers.
Prior to her advisor roles, she was an internal auditor at Credit Lyonnais and an external auditor at Arthur Andersen.
Sandy was on the Dean's Honours List of the Nanyang Master of Business and Administration degree programme where she specialised in Banking and Finance.
